Cloud Engineer

We are looking for Junior Cloud Engineers on our core development team here at SkyLoop Cloud! As a member of our DevOps team, you will be critical to the creation, design and management of the infrastructure we deploy and run on.

What you will do:

Design, write, and deliver a cloud native automation framework (Terraform/Cloudformation/CDK)
Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale AWS systems and platforms
Design, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing configuration management infrastructure as code.
Solve complex problems.
Take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
Provide top level support to our clients on demand
Participate in on call rotation responding with urgency to incidents that may arise.

What you need to succeed

Strong technical foundations with ambitions to achieve technical excellence
Some experience building applications using modern web frameworks
Knowledge of JavaScript and Python
Familiarity with Jenkins, Cloudformation, Terraform and GIT as source control
Familiarity with AWS or willingness to learn
Passion and curiosity for the technology industry
Commitment to developing your technical and personal skills
Fluent spoken and written use of English language
