Job Description:

As a Junior Quantitative Business Analyst, you will serve as the vital link between quantitative research, development, and production. Your primary focus will be managing development requirements, validating outputs, and ensuring the successful implementation of research into robust, tested systems. This is an ideal role for a technically inclined, detail-oriented analyst with a passion for financial markets and quantitative modelling, looking to grow into a more specialized quant or product role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and developers to translate research ideas into well-defined technical requirements.
• Track and prioritize development tasks across multiple projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Design and execute structured testing plans for new quantitative models, analytics, and trading tools.
• Validate model outputs and system behavior using both historical data and simulated environments.
• Document requirements, test results, and performance metrics with a clear focus on traceability and reproducibility.
• Facilitate communication between quant, dev, and trading teams to ensure alignment on goals and delivery expectations.
• Contribute to improving workflow processes and tooling around research-to-production pipelines.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related).
• Strong understanding of financial markets, preferably with exposure to algorithmic or high-frequency trading.
• Basic proficiency in Python or another scripting language; ability to read and interpret code and logs.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, data validation, or QA processes in a technical environment is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting.
• Motivated, curious, and eager to learn more about quantitative research and trading technology.
