İş Tanımı ve Genel Nitelikler: Prometeia S.p.A, a leading provider of software solutions and consulting services for Risk Management, Financial Analysis, and Planning for financial institutions, is extending its capabilities by creating a data science team in Turkey region and is looking for multiple candidates within the areas of Data Science and ML Engineering.
Candidates will be placed in the team of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an enterpreunership soul and a focus on not only financial institutions' digitalization processes but also cross-sectoral real-world applications of AI. The ideal candidates will have strong software engineering skills.
We seek to build up a team of full-fledge skilled ML Engineers that have passion to generate POCs and AI products targeting end-to-end process digitalization solutions and eager to learn from divergent real-sector data science usecases.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop POCs and/or AI products in technical areas of AI like Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) on big tabular data and/or text, image data 
• Collaborate with both local and global data science business translators from divergent industries
• Eager to follow literature, research, prototype, implement and evaluate applications of state-of-the-art ML/DL algorithms in real-world data science problems
• Discover proper ML/DL algorithms specific to the business problem, apply, visualize results
• Perform analytical tasks like algorithm design, implementation, validation and testing
• Facilitate integration of the resulting system/software into production environment
• Willingness to learn new technologies in a lean development environment
• Contribute to research papers and/or patent submissions
REQUIREMENTS:
• Academic experience in one or more of the following technologies. Classification or Regression ML Algorithms, Turkish NLP, Deep Learning on Big Tabular Data (experience in one of the areas is enough)
• Hands-on experience in coding with Python
• Hands-on academic experience on one or more of the frameworks and libraries: tensorflow, keras, pytorch, nltk, gensim, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, caffe, sckit-image, opencv 
• Experience in relational SQL and NoSQL (Redis, Mongo DB, Cassandra) databases
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++ etc.)
• Computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, run-time analysis, object oriented design patterns
• Experience in Linux/Unix operating system
• Experience in building software applications and technologies like web services (SOAP, REST), Spring, Maven is preferred

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Having a Bsc. or having/pursing Msc. degree in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision or related fields of Computer Science and Data Science 
SOFT SKILLS:
• Skill to effectively present, describe and report on complex ideas and projects
• Good communication and team-working attitude
