Game Developer Intern

Yamy Studio is a game design and development company based in Istanbul. Our main goal is to develop high-quality mobile games that will be enjoyed for years by bringing technology and creativity together; our motivation is seeing players enjoy playing our games.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

Ability to write clean and maintainable code

Experience with the Unity game engine, strong coding skills, and high attention to detail

Ability to design, implement, and maintain different game systems

Taking an active role throughout the entire development lifecycle of our game projects

Transforming design ideas into functional games

Generating ideas for new game features and levels while considering theme dynamics and overall game integrity

Continuously improving technical knowledge and skills related to the area of responsibility

Staying up to date with new technologies, game development trends, and current tools

Researching best practices to improve code quality and applying them in projects

Carefully evaluating technical feedback from the team and turning it into growth opportunities

Researching and practicing to develop both functional and sustainable modules

Expectations:

Experience using GitHub

Familiarity with Unity 3D documentation

Strong passion for games and game development

Advanced Unity skills (experience with other programming languages is a plus)

Preferably having developed projects individually or as part of a team

Team-oriented, responsible, and possessing strong communication skills

Advanced problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
