Part-Time Junior Process Engineer
We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Junior Process Engineer to support our Process & CFD Engineering team in engineering calculations, data analysis, and modernization projects.
This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real engineering projects while working closely with experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
• Assist in transferring existing process engineering calculations from spreadsheets into Python-based applications
• Support the development of a centralized engineering calculation database
• Test and validate process calculation results
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Support bottleneck identification and analysis activities
• Support the evaluation of process improvement and investment opportunities
• Assist in the preparation of technical presentations and client deliverables
• Perform chemical engineering calculations under the guidance of senior engineers
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Mineral Processing Engineering, and having successfully completed Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics courses.
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Interest in engineering calculations, programming, and digital tools
• Eagerness to learn and develop programming skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of Python or willingness to learn
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar technical computing tools is a plus
• Experience with engineering calculations, data analysis, or technical software
