About Us

Freelea is a U.S.-based, fast-growing Fashion & Technology venture redefining the shopping experience for Gen Z customers. PulseDataLab is Freelea's Istanbul-based technology and operations center. Join us as a Marketplace Finance Specialist and help ensure the financial accuracy and integrity of Freelea's U.S. marketplace operations.

Role Focus

This role is responsible for managing the highly integrated financial processes that power Freelea’s marketplace ecosystem, where sellers, customers, creators, influencers, and multiple operational teams interact through a complex network of transactions, commissions, payouts, settlements, returns, promotions, and revenue-sharing structures.

Working closely with finance, operations, product, and technology teams, you will ensure that all marketplace-related financial activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established controls and reporting standards.

The role also provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with globally recognized enterprise platforms such as Mirakl, Adobe Commerce, NetSuite, Stripe, and Avalara. Through internal training programs and professional certifications, team members will develop highly transferable skills and globally valuable credentials within the rapidly growing marketplace technology ecosystem.

As the marketplace business model relies on the seamless coordination of multiple stakeholders and interconnected financial flows, this position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, financial accuracy, scalability, and long-term business success.


Key Responsibilities

- Manage the financial processes supporting interactions among sellers, customers, creators, influencers, and internal teams across the Freelea marketplace ecosystem.
- Calculate, review, and verify commissions, fees, incentives, revenue-sharing arrangements, and other marketplace-related financial transactions.
- Monitor seller balances, settlements, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, promotions, and account adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform payout reviews and controls to ensure that all marketplace participants are compensated accurately and on time.
- Conduct reconciliations across Mirakl, Adobe Commerce, Stripe Connect, NetSuite, and other integrated platforms while investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare operational, financial, and performance reports related to marketplace activities and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with finance, operations, technology, logistics, and seller success teams to ensure the smooth execution of marketplace processes.
- Support the implementation, testing, optimization, and continuous improvement of marketplace technologies, financial controls, automation tools, and reporting systems.
- Develop expertise in globally recognized enterprise platforms and contribute to the continuous enhancement of Freelea’s marketplace infrastructure.
- Help build scalable, accurate, and efficient financial processes capable of supporting the long-term growth of the Freelea ecosystem.


Who We're Looking For

- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience or strong interest in marketplace/e-commerce finance operations.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems (e.g., Stripe or similar) is a strong plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and/or marketplace platforms (e.g., Mirakl) is highly valued.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and reconciling financial records across multiple systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring reporting cycles and deadlines.
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, analysis, and reporting.
