Job Opportunity: Tech-Forward Student Assistant (Remote/Flexible Part-Time)
Role Overview:
I am seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy student to provide administrative and digital support to a retired University Professor. This role is ideal for a student who can bridge the gap between traditional scholarship and modern AI-driven workflows for personal productivity.
Ideal Candidate:
Academic Background: Preferably a 2nd or 3rd-year student from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (History, Sociology, Philosophy, etc.).
Character: We are looking for a dependable, discreet, and trustworthy individual. As you will handle personal correspondence and document filing, professional integrity is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
International Correspondence: Managing and drafting professional academic emails in English.
Digital Organization: Filing, categorizing research documents, and maintaining an orderly virtual workspace.
AI & Automation: Utilizing AI agents or automation tools to streamline repetitive administrative tasks and research organization.
Tech Coaching: Assisting the Professor in mastering iPhone and Windows laptop features to ensure a seamless, modern working relationship.
Workload & Compensation:
Hours: Flexible, averaging 1–2 hours per day.
Salary: Competitive hourly rate (optional fixed salary after a trial period).
Location: Primarily Remote.
Requirements:
Current student at Boğaziçi University.
Good proficiency in the Window/iPhone ecosystem.
Practical experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, agents, or productivity automation).
Excellent written English and a strong sense of responsibility.
Hiring Process:
First Round: Online interview.
Second Round: In-person interview in Istanbul (European Side).
