About Global Investment Holdings (“GIH”):
Global Investment Holdings (GIH) is a diversified conglomerate with investments in a number of businesses; including ports infrastructure, energy generation, compressed natural gas distribution, mining, real estate development and brokerage & asset management. As the M&A, Strategy and Business Development Department, in addition to global business development and M&A activities for all group companies, we are responsible for supporting the group’s growth and evaluating potential investment opportunities. To support the team in global business development and M&A activities, as well as the assessment of potential investments, we are looking to add an ambitious, mission-driven intern with an entrepreneurial mindset to our team.

Responsibilities:
This role will include the following, among other responsibilities:
• Helping the M&A, Strategy and Business Development team through market and target research,
• Analyze target companies and their industries by understanding competitive dynamics, market drivers, business models, opportunities and risks,
• Support due diligence processes,
• Participating in business plan modelling and valuation analysis,
• Conducting presentations to team on possible investments,

Requirements:
• Pursuing a BS / MS degree in Business / Economics / Finance / Industrial Engineering or related fields in reputable universities,
• Ability to work at least 3 days a week,
• Good level of computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint,
• Strong organizational and time management skills,
• Ability to present to and communicate effectively with other team members and top management,
• Strong oral and written communications, strong interpersonal skills,
• Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision,
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
