HFT / Quant Trader (Hybrid)
Location: Budotek, Istanbul
Algocor is a financial sciences company that utilizes new technologies, meticulous R&D and rigorous procedures to solve the toughest problems in capital markets. Our team consists of scientists, technologists, and domain practitioners who develop state of the art technological solutions.
We are seeking a high-frequency (HFT) trader with knowledge in quantitative research and special interest Borsa Istanbul and global capital markets. The ideal candidate is passionate about systematic trading, alpha creation, and idea generation. The candidate should have experience in trading high frequency and low latency products, and delta-one, market making, arbitrage strategies.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working on a prop trading, systematic trading or electronic trading desk (investment bank, broker dealer, hedge fund, etc.). This is a cross-asset and cross-region trading position.
What will we expect?
The successful candidate will possess the following:
University degree in economics, computer science, engineering or similar.
Trading knowledge and previous exposure/work with trading equities, equity futures, global commodities.
Experience in risk management and running a prop book.
The ability to work and solve problems as part of a team, often in a high-pressure environment.
Proven trustworthiness and performance under the highest ethical standards.
Strong communication skills, bringing high energy and commitment, open to challenges and learning.
Fluency in English and Turkish.
Knowledge in Python.
Nice to haves:
Proficiency with at least one of the following languages: C++ and SQL.
