Data Science Intern

Dcipher Analytics is a SaaS platform for AI-powered text analytics. The company also provides analytics and data science consultancy services to international companies and institutions.

We are looking for a Data Science Intern who will be based in Istanbul and working with our international team. The main responsibility will be to investigate and implement optimal solutions to various NLP/NLU problems in the text-domain and integrate these solutions to Dcipher SaaS platform. Highly motivated and skilled developers are welcome to apply. The position might lead to full-time employment.

Internship dates: February 2021 – June 2021
A highly competitive salary will be offered.

At Dcipher, you will be
- Identifying the most suitable data mining, machine learning and NLP algorithms for Dcipher’s end-to-end self-service SaaS/PaaS NLP platform by reviewing academic literature, open-source solutions, and solutions to similar problems
- Implementing and testing identified approaches in Python
- Contributing to data science consultancy projects in Dcipher Lab

We are excited about you because you have
- High level of English.
- Ongoing BS/MS education in computer science or related field
- Deep understanding of statistics, linear algebra, supervised/unsupervised machine learning and reinforcement learning concepts
- Proficiency in Python with a good understanding of OOP, documentation and testing
- Proficiency in data analysis frameworks like Pandas, PySpark or Dask
- Familiarity with frameworks like Keras, TensorFlow or PyTorch

It’s a plus if you have
- Experience in Computer vision and Image processing
- Experience working with cloud computing services like GCP/AWS/Azure
